A buddy and I visited a state park, took a walk in the woods, talked about mistakes, and smoked pipes. I love this picture over all the pictures I’ve ever taken. It always looked to me like he was just on the verge of slipping, all the while leaning into the wind.

Alright calm down ladies. My dear friend and athletic hero: Dan. This one reminds me of some early old timey body builder. So much seriousness yet comedy about his expression. Also turned out being the trip that made me appreciate the infamous city of Cleveland, of which Dan always seem to be proud of. Shot with 35mm film.

I had been traveling for sometime in northern Iceland in the winter and hadn’t seen the sun in 3 days due to the short days and mountains. I came around a bend in the road to my first sight of direct sunlight. If I didn’t cry on the outside it’s only because I didn’t want to fog up my camera. Shot with 35mm film.
